Haqqani Discusses Afghan Passports Printed Abroad with EU Special Representative for Afghanistan

KABUL (BNA) Sirajuddin Haqqani Acting Interior Minister receiving Tomas Niklasson, EU Special Representative for Afghanistan in his office, discussed current challenges in the country.

A meeting concentrated on security, Afghan passports printed abroad took to discussions between sides, during the meeting Mr. Niklasson promised further cooperation, said in a statement by Ministry.

During talks, Niklasson stressed maintaining security as an essential tool for the world, and region, meanwhile Haqqani’s acting interior minister reaffirmed his commitment to security, adding.

Islamic Emirate will not allow anyone to pose a threat to another country from Afghan soil under the Doha Agreement.

He added that the Islamic Emirate’s door of talk is open to insurgents and called on the world not to support any insurgency group against the new Afghan government.

Niklasson stressed that world security is associated with Afghanistan’s stability and vowed never to support régime militants against the new Afghan government.

In the end, Acting Interior Minister appreciated EU Representative for Afghanistan and said Islamic Emirate strives towards building amity ties with world countries and will not allow any threats to any other country from Afghanistan soil.
