Badakhshan (BNA) 20 armed Taliban were killed in conflicts of defense and security forces in Badakhshan province last night.
Neek Mohammad Nazari spokesman for Badakhshan governor told BNA correspondent, Taliban stormed from several directions on police checkpoint in Dash-e-Shewa region, Arghkjkhwah district, in which 20 Taliban rebels were killed and dozens others have been injured.
He added, numerous of heavy and light weapons of the insurgents were seized by security forces.
Two security officials were also injured in the conflicts.
