Sheberghan (BNA) Hundreds residential houses and thousand Jiribs of agricultural lands have been destroyed in heavy flash flood in Jouzjan province yesterday.
The floods and heavy rains inflected financial damages in Faizabad district, Jouzjan province.
Rahmatullah governor of Faizabad district, Jouzjan province said BNA, as a result of the floods, hundreds of residential houses and at least 90 per cent farms of people have been destroyed.
The residents of the area were transferred by security forces to save places.
Governor of Faizabad district said that so far, a number of organizations assisted for flood affected families.
Meanwhile, the flood affected people said the assistance is not enough and we have urgent need for shelter, foodstuffs, medicines and water.
