Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) By construction a water supply network in Balkh province, about one thousand families were benefited from drinking water in Balkh province.
Mohammad Salem Sayee head of agriculture irrigation and livestock of the province told BNA, the irrigation network was built in Balkh district of the province from budget of agriculture, irrigation and livestock at the cost of nine million Afghanis.
With construction of the network water would also provide for nearly 2,000 acres of agricultural land.
