Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Army ANA forces conducting cleansing operation in relevant districts of Kandahar province killed 16 oppositions and wounded 13 others including their 2 commanders.
Samim Kheplwak spokesman for Kandahar governor told BNA, the operations were carried out for elimination of armed insurgents in Maiwand, Shahwalikoot and Zherai districts of Kandahar Province in which 16 armed insurgents were killed and 13 others were wounded including their 2 commanders.
According to the source, during the operations a rocket launcher, a communication means, 2 grenades and five various mines were also seized.
