Sheikh Mawlana Noor Ahmad Islamjar, Governor of Herat, engaged in discussions with the head of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to address pivotal issues related to child welfare and development initiatives within the region.
Governor Islamjar, expressed gratitude to UNICEF for their invaluable services, specifically in providing clean drinking water in the Kohsan district, and underscored the importance of sustaining such cooperative efforts.
On the other hand, the head of UNICEF stated that immediate attention to schools damaged by the earthquake in the districts is one of their office’s top priorities, and noted that thirty-five schools are currently under reconstruction.
Meanwhile, Herat Governor emphasized the urgency of addressing damaged schools and stated that delivering effective services to the people is a top priority for the local administration.
He reiterated added that the local administration will provide all necessary facilities to support better services for organizations.
