HERAT (BNA) Herat governor asked for further development programme expansion of the organization in a meeting with UN enovy for Afghanistan on Tuseday.
Ms. Miti Nadson on her visit to Herat province meet with governor Noor Ahmad Aslam Jar and provide details about UN development programme and its mission in Afghanistan.
Ms.Naddon assured further cooperation and expansion of development programme in Afghanistan, Said a statement.
Herat governor talked about social and security situation of the province and asked the UN envoy to expand the organization’s economic and development programme in Herat.
“We would like to provide jobs for our people and we are asking the international community to lift the restrictions imposed on Afghanistan’s assets.” he added.
Meanwhlie, Nadson said, “UN will support development programme with the international community and strives for further cooperation and coordination,”
UN since founded in 1945 has been provides developement programme around, and based on report currently operates in 97 countries as neutral peacekeeping with its headquarter in New york, completed 61 msision in different countries, adds reports.
