Herat Transportation Revenues Increase

HERAT(BNA) The office of Herat Transportation has sum up a revenue of 18 million Afghanis in the last months of the current year.

Mawlavi Jalaludden Haqdoost, head of Herat’s roadways transportation, told BNA, the office had earned 18 million afghanis in in last four months of the current year

Haghdoost added, the transportation office charges 3% of the total fare for each passenger car under the name of transport service product from all passenger car owners.

Meanwhile, Mawlana Naeem Al-Haq Haqqani, director of Information and culture of Herat province, mentioned that province as the economic center of Afghanistan adding, Herat province has two joint ports with neighboring countries, which have a special place in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

It’s noticeable that under the leadership of roadways transportation 32 urban routes and 13 active ports in Herat province and up to 10,000 vehicles are operating on the Herat-Mashhad route alone itself.
