Ghazni People, Civil Activists Protest On 31 Kidnapped Passengers

Ghazni (BNA) More than one thousand people in Ghazni province including members of the civil society, Ulama and tribal elders demonstrated on releasing of the kidnapped passengers by Taliban yesterday, BNA reported.
The demonstrators have gathered in front of the provincial building of the province and asked the National Unity Government to free 31 passengers from Taliban captivation.
According to BNA, protestors say that kidnapping of passengers is intolerable and any silence against terrorists is considered treachery to the citizens.
The protesters asked the government to do its best to free 31 passengers; otherwise the Kabul-Kandahar highway would be blocked.
Ali Akbar Qasimi, representative of Ghazni people in the lower house of the parliament besides thanking the elders of Kandahar, Zabul and Ghazni provinces, asked them to continue their efforts for freeing of the passengers.
