Higher Education Minister Nadim Meets with Japanese Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Support

 

KABUL(BNA): In a significant diplomatic engagement, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, Mullah Neda Mohammad Nadim, met with Japan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Takayoshi Kurumaya, in his office.

In this meeting, the Japanese Ambassador provided an overview of Japan’s activities in Afghanistan. He mentioned that he has visited the provinces of Kandahar, Herat, and Nangarhar and plans to visit other provinces as well.

Referring to the third Doha meeting concerning Afghanistan, the ambassador stated that the Japanese government would encourage the international community to engage with Afghanistan. He emphasized that Japan stands by Afghanistan, refrains from interfering in its internal affairs, and respects its religious, national, and cultural values.

Simultaneously, the Acting Minister of Higher Education expressed profound gratitude for Japan’s ongoing assistance to Afghanistan.

Acting Minister Nadim also praised the Japanese Ambassador’s visits to various provinces and suggested that the Ambassador visit Afghanistan universities during his travels to witness the positive changes firsthand.
