Taliban Senior Commander Killed in Herat Raid

Herat (BNA) Taliban senior commander was killed in security troops attack in Herat yesterday.
Mullah Manan was targeted with tens of his colleagues while organizing a series of terrorist attacks.
Jelani Farhad spokesman for Herat governor told BNA, in the raid, Mullah Manan senior commander of Taliban was killed.
Three other Taliban insurgents were killed and two others have been injured, he added.
According to another report, four militaries were injured in explosion of a mine in Herat.
Police of the province say, the mine was placed in Pul-e-Pashton area and exploded while passing of militaries in the scene.
Security officials blamed Taliban for the mine planting.
Doctors in central hospital of Herat reported the health condition of an injured critical.
