Kabul (BNA) Central laboratory of National Administration of Standard was opened yesterday.
In a ceremony held on this occasion in Kabul, head of National Administration of Standard Popalzai Popal spoke and said, “Central labs and administrative building of the department have been constructed with total cost of Afs 88 million funded by the department.” Popal added there were labs in the center for construction materials, metrology, foodstuffs, petroleum, electricity and microbiology and all the labs equipped with modern appliances and international standard.
Meanwhile, in the ceremony Deputy Minister of Urban Development, general director for central statistics office and head of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries stressed on importance of setting up the lab.
