Human Rights Organizations Should Pay Serious Consideration To Kunduz Situation, Fatima Aziz

Kabul (BNA) After capturing Kunduz by Taliban, there are reports that Taliban have harmed the people of the province even health works and killed a number of health workers who were operating there.
Fatima Aziz, representative of Kunduz people in the parliament, has been in strike for addressing bad condition of the people and violation of human rights in the province. According to Aziz, the people of Kunduz are facing not only with life threats but also with poverty and lack of foodstuffs. She said that a loaf of bread was sold by 50 afg in the province. Fatima Aziz in an exclusive interview with The Kabul Times said, “Kunduz is now facing with human catastrophe and armed Taliban are using the people’s homes for fighting against Afghan security forces; therefore, we are in strike titled ‘Save The Kunduz’ so that we can inform the international community and government of Afghanistan on bad condition of people in the province.” Aziz asked the UN and government of Afghanistan to make efforts to prevent killing of innocent civilians in Kunduz war. Previously, the UN has also expressed its concern over bad condition of the people of Kunduz and released a statement asking the Taliban and the government of Afghanistan to take care of the life of innocent civilians.
