Hundreds of Cattle Lives Lost In Extreme Cold in Faryab

FARYAB (BNA) In the upsurge of unprecedented cold in north of the country and lack of fodder, hundreds of cattle lives have been lost in Faryab, informed local officials of the province.

The governor of Gurziwan district of Faryab, Mawlavi Hamidullah Danesh, told BNA that in the past few days, three hundred sheep and seventy-seven goats were lost in the distant villages of Gurziwan district in the extreme cold weather and lack of fodder.

In the meantime, most parts of Afghanistan are witnessing severe unprecedented cold, a cold that has disturbed the normal life of citizens.
