Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani received congratulatory message of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey on the occasion of 101st anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence.
The message reads, “On the occasion of the Afghanistan’s independence anniversary, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the government and brotherly nation of Afghanistan on behalf the Turkish nation.”
The message further reads that Afghanistan and Turkey will mark 100th anniversary of their diplomatic relationship that is grounded on deep-rooted bonds and cultural and fraternal relations between the two country. He said he is fully confident that the bilateral relations will be further expanded.
President Erdogan added Turkey continues to support Afghanistan to achieve peace at this juncture while the country is undergoing a critical transition in terms of sustainable peace, security and prosperity.
President of Turkey has wished health and success for President Ashraf Ghani, and peace and tranquility for Afghanistan and its people.
