Kabul (BNA) Lower House Speaker, Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi in his meeting with General Joseph Danford, General Commander of foreign forces in Afghanistan said that terrorism is not only the enemy of the people of Afghanistan, but it threatens world community as a whole therefore; struggle against it is the common responsibility of all world countries.
At the meeting General Danford expressed his sympathies over the martyrdom of four members of Ibrahimi’s family.
Thanking Danford for his sympathy Ibrahimi appreciated over equipping and training of Afghan security forces by the US and NATO.
He noted that like Afghans, foreign forces also have lost their lives in the struggle against terrorism.
Ibrahimi added that terrorism is not only the enemy of the people of Afghanistan but is a great threat for all humanity and struggle against it is the common responsibility of the world countries.
Touching on the positive cooperation of US and NATO countries to Afghanistan, ibrahimi added that the present achievements in various fields are the outcome of sacrifices of both foreign and the Afghan security forces.
General Danford stated that the US and NATO are committed for cooperation with Afghanistan for long term, after 2014.
