Monday, November 07, 2016

Kabul (BNA) The first meeting of the Executive Commission on peace accord’s commitment implementation was held at the presidential Char Chenar Palace, where the high pace council chairman, some cabinet members, national security advisor, first deputy to the CEO, delegation of the Hezb-e-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) have taken part, said a statement Sunday.
Lauding the efforts of the high peace council’s members in the field of peace process success with the HIA leader, chairman Pir Sayed Ahmad Gailani said, “Now the time has reached to help implement the commitments of the peace with the HIA.”
Abdul Hakim Hakim, the leader of the HIA delegation, said by reaching an intern-Afghan peace process with the Hezb-e-Islami, the propaganda that the party had no independent authority to decide was negated and the fact was proved that the Afghans can take decision for peace by their own and both sides are expected to honestly step up in implementation of the commitments of the peace deal. No one should be allowed to create hurdle before the peace commitments’ execution, said Hakim, and asked other armed oppositions to take the peace way and join the process.
Reading out the message of the country’s president, Mohammad Hanif Atmar, the national security advisor vowed that the government would remain committed in implementation of the peace process’s second round, which is execution of the commitments and that the government’s demand from the international community was only political and if need would ask for form cooperation under the joint coordination with the HIA delegation, the statement quoted. He said didn’t reject if there was hurdle before implementation of the peace commitments, but said in joint effort the problems should be removed, the statement said.
