 ICRC Assisted Victims of Recent Explosion in Kunduz

Kunduz (BNA) Following the bloodshed in Kunduz, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says it has begun work with local doctors to treat the injured.

Fifty-six people were martyred and more than 100 were injured in a series of explosions at a mosque in Kunduz.

The victims and the injured had gathered for Friday prayers at the mosque, which exploded.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says in a newsletter that it has begun treating the wounded along with doctors from Kunduz Central Hospital.
