ICRC Reconstructs 8 schools in Laghman

MEHTARLAM (BNA) The International Committee of the Red Cross restored eight (8) schools in Laghman.

The schools were damaged during the previous wars, and its students mostly studied outdoors due to the failure of their classrooms.
These schools are placed in Alingar, alishang and Shahr-e-Mertalam districts.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says in a newsletter that with the reconstruction of these eight schools, more than 6,000 students gained access to a suitable learning environment.
The international body says it is continuing to rebuild schools to help the education process in Afghanistan.
