Kabul (BNA) Taliban attack on Nahoor district, Ghazni province cordoned off by Afghan security forces.
Joma Khan Shefayee district governor of Nahoor told BNA correspondent, the night before last Taliban militants stormed on Nahoor district and torched a security checkpoint, but with reaching of assistance forces from center of the province and sever strengthen of the security forces the militants forced to flee from the battlefield.
Shefayee added, at first Taliban militants cut off telephone antenna, that security forces can’t to contact with center.
It has been said the militants launched the attacked from Khawat region border of Maidan-Wardak province.
During the fire fight a police was wounded and numerous militants killed and wounded, but the exact number is not clear.
