IDB Signed Worth $8.1m MoU with 6 International Aid Organizations

KABUL (BNA) the Islamic Development Bank signed a memorandum of understanding worth 8.1 million US dollars with six international aid organizations for Afghanistan.

The Islamic Development Bank President Dr. Mohammad Al Jasser has signed a memorandum of understanding in cooperation with AHTF to six international aid organizations in Jeddah city in Saudi Arabia, a statement said.

This memorandum of understanding has been signed on the sideline of the Islamic Development in Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia, added to the statement.

Dr. Al Jasser the president of IDB said that with the signed MoU poor families will receive humanitarian aid who is in severe need of food, drinkable water, and primary health services.

Meanwhile, he urges the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries to extend humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.

The AHTF organization is striving to work on basic development sectors in Afghanistan like food safety, employment opportunities, semi-investment support, and accessibility to standard education, mainly for women, and providing health services in remote areas is a priority of their service in Afghanistan.
