KABUL (BNA): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan called a recent report of the World Bank on economic situation of Afghanistan an objective fact and praised it.
According to a statement released by Deputy Prime Minister Office today, a report was published by the World Bank on August 31, 2023, which highlighted the economic progress of Afghanistan.
The report highlighted reduction of inflation, increased food production, appreciation of Afghani currency, improved banking system, and more facilities for commercial companies and generation of more opportunities in the country.
In addition to exports, the level of imports and national revenues have also increased, the salaries of government employees have been paid on time and quality services have been offered to the people, said the statement.
It has been said, the Islamic Emirate requested the World Bank to resume work on projects which have been left incomplete in Afghanistan.
