Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim second vice president in his meeting with some elders of Wardouj district of Badakhshan province, while Fazlul Azim Mujadidi people’s representatives of Badakhshan at the House of People was also present said that the security and its ensuring is important for us.
Environmental problems and the issue of consolidation of stability, and security were topics discussed by the elders. Three representatives of the province conveyed their congratulations and those of Badakhshan people to Marshal Fahim acting president on the 8th Saur anniversary and shared their problems with him.
They said that security is utmost important for the people and urged the government authorities to pay attention it. The elders of Badakhshan asked Marshal Fahim to undertake measures for strengthening of the local police there so that they can alongside the security forces ensure security there in. Marshal Fahim told the elders that the 8th of Saur the righteous Jehad of our people will remain in our memories as our people after years of struggle triumphed in the war against the invaders. He recommended to the elders to recall this day to their children. He stressed that security and addressing it is important tasks before the government and for this very reason, the government is striving to ensure security in Badakhshan and put an end to the insurgents activities there. He assured the elders of the province that their problems in respect to education, health and transport as well as ensuring of security will be duly addressed by the related government organs.
