Kabul (BNA) Military committee’s in-charge of Taliban group along with his three men were arrested in central Logar province.
Col. Abdul Qayoum Nooristani in-charge of press office in army corps special operation told BNA, Najib known as Istanekzai responsible for Taliban military committee along with his three men have been detained during a military operation conducted by Afghan Commando Forces in Azbak region, Baraki Barak district of the province.
Some heavy and light weapons have been seized and Azbak village have been cleared from being of anti-government militias during the military operation, Nooristani added.
According to another report, two Taliban militants were killed during air attack carried out by Afghan air forces in Logar province yesterday.
The Taliban fighters while were riding motorcycle have been targeted and killed by Afghan air forces in Dehno village, Mohammad Agha district of the province, Shah Poor Ahmadi spokesman of police chief in Logar reported.
