IEA, Pleads Resolution Between TTP & Pakistan Government Through Negotiation

KABUL (BNA) Zabiullah Mujahid’s spokesman says the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan pleads Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the government to reach a resolution through negotiation.

“We want stability in the region, there should be no war and no problem in Pakistan and we want this issue to be resolved peacefully.” He added

Although the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate described the current conflict between the Pakistani Taliban and the government as an internal problem and said that it had nothing to do with the Islamic Emirate, he stressed that the Islamic Emirate wants resolution” Until a healthy solution is found, it is in the interest of the whole region and in the interest of the people of Pakistan.

Zabiullah Mujahid made the call as seven Pakistani soldiers and four Pakistani Taliban fighters were killed in a clash in North Waziristan’s Datakhil district late Friday, the Pakistani military confirmed.

Meanwhile, last night, Pakistan targeted airstrikes in parts of Mir Safar and Kurai areas of Khost province, on 20 TTP members in Kunar province, and parts of Paktika province.

Qari Najibullah Hanif; spokesman of Kunar confirmed the news and said that the provincial official had sent a delegation to the region to closely monitor the situation, adding that the attacks had resulted in casualties.

So far, it’s not clear whether these midnight airstrikes are related to yesterday’s incident in Waziristan or not.

Previously, Pakistan has targeted raids in parts of Kunar and other border provinces in the past under the excuse of the Pakistani Taliban.
