
KABUL (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs in a meeting with the members of the carpet exporters’ union said that the officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan are seeking to provide more facilities in the sector of carpet trade.
Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi met with Mohibullah Kohi, a national businessman of the carpet industry and a member of the Carpet Exporters Union of the country, according to a statement released by his office.
In the meeting, Mohibullah Kohi reminded Saying that carpet production has increased in the country and the price and value of carpets are better in the world than ever.
Carpets produced in Afghanistan are exported to different countries of the world, he added.
He expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the Islamic Emirate for providing smooth routes for carpet traders and exporters and also with the tax exemptions.
While expressing his satisfaction with the efforts and extensive activities of national businessmen in the field of the country’s carpet industry, Deputy Prime Minister said that the officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan are seeking to provide more facilities in the field of trade, mainly in the carpet sector.
