Jalalabad (BNA) At least 10 children were martyred and two others injured in explosion of a mine in Nangarhar province this morning.
The explosion occurred in Doulatzai area, Chaparhar district when a group of small girls wanted to collected wood.
Mohammad Sediq governor of Chaparhar district of Nangarhar said to BNA, the mine was left since years back in the area, but the residents of the area called Taliban responsible of mine planting.
He confirmed that in this explosion, 10 girls were martyred and two others wounded.
Meanwhile, doctors in the civil hospital of Jalalabad called the health conditions of the injured girls critical.
