IEA Supreme Leader Meets a Number of Scholars of Country’s Provinces

KABUL (BNA) The supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, held a consultative meeting with the heads, deputies and secretarial officials of the Council of scholars of Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Nimroz, Farah, Paktika and Paktia provinces.

In this meeting, the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, the Supreme Court Deputy and some members of the Religious Publications Supervision and Inspection Agency were also attended, said a statement.

The Supreme Leader called consulting important in Islam said consult could bring unity and consensus among Muslims is strengthened.

The supreme leader praised the activities of the religious scholars, said that many problems of the people have been addressed by the councils and they should always pay attention to addressing the problems of the people and pay more attention to their responsibilities in this regard, adding that religious scholars are the group whose responsibility does not end until the Day of Resurrection.

Meanwhile, religious scholars shared details on their religious scholar’s council’s responsibilities and also shared some other issues and suggestions with supreme leader.

According to a statement, the scholars have provided important advice on establishing a permanent relationship between the Islamic Emirate and the people, addressing people’s problems, bringing reforms in provincial institutions and further development.
