IEA Supreme Leader Ordered to Collect Beggars from Kabul Streets

KABUL (BNA) The supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Hebatullah Akhundzada, tasked Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, with the management of collecting beggars from the streets of Kabul city.

A statement received by BNA said that the beggars who have laborer skills after a biometric will be provided with a job in the relevant field.

Against the beggar person need to promise not to beg in the streets anymore, the source added, in his statement.

According to the statement, the children who beg in the streets will be provided with education, and those beggars who are really poor and cannot do any work will be paid a monthly salary.

Lately, the number of women, children, disabled, and men who are begging in all the provinces of the country’s streets widen, but it is not known who is deserving and who is not deserving.
