IEA’s 23rd Cabinet Meeting Addresses Kabul Master Plan and Enhances Inter-Ministerial Coordination

 

KABUL(BNA): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan convened its 23rd regular cabinet meeting today, June 10th, under the leadership of Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund.

During the meeting, a crucial decision was made to implement the Kabul city’s master plan. Each department was tasked with fulfilling its duties and responsibilities according to the outlined procedures, ensuring the effective execution of this comprehensive urban development strategy.

Additionally, the Ministry of Interior was tasked with ensuring that all relevant departments with administrative units in the districts affected by decisions regarding the designation and alteration of district centers are included in the committees and joint decisions were made.

The meeting also assigned the Ministries of Education, Public Health, Public Works, Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Communications, and Information Technology to coordinate with the Ministries of Borders, Tribes, and Interior to address the issues of people in border districts seriously and to provide services efficiently.
