No Necessary Attention Paid To Kuchis In Past Decade, CE

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met yesterday with a number of Kuchis representatives.
In the meeting, the country’s chief executive said that Kuchis were Afghanistan’s key part, but unfortunately no necessary attention had been paid to them during the past 15 years. Chief executive added that although Kuchis have suffered like others in the country, but they had played key role in Afghanistan’s economy. In the meeting, Kuchis representatives asked the country’s chief executive to address their problems. Criticizing from presidential decree and a commission formed for addressing problems between Kuchis and Hazaras in Maidan Wardak, they said there was no balance in the decree. They also said that no attention has been paid to Kuchis disabled, asking for expansion of coordination of Kuchis independent department. The country’s chief executive said he would talk with President in connection with Kuchis problems, adding that he would also have meetings with representatives of Kushis in future to find solutions for their problems. He also said he would also review their problems in council of ministers. According to another report, the country’s chief executive met yesterday with elders and dignitaries of Nangarhar’s Shinwari.
