Security Situation Considerably Improved In Laghman, Chief Executive

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in a session held yesterday in Mehterlam, capital city of Laghman said demands and suggestions made by local officials and the people of Laghman would be addressed.
In the session, governor of Laghman Abdul Jabar Naeemi enumerated all achievements and activities of the local government as well as challenges facing by it local government.
Afterwards, the country’s chief executive by expressing happiness over improvement of security situation and opening development and infrastructural projects in the province said that security situation in the province has considerably improved, but maintaining full security needed opportunity and further time.
Dr. Abdullah Abdullah also said that all suggestions and visions of local security and civil officials in connection with maintaining better security in the province would be discussed and reviewed in the country’s national Security Council.
He said that attention to local police, increasing of police forces and supplying and equipping ANA forces were the most significant suggestions in maintaining security and necessary executions would be carried out in this regard.
It is said that the country’s chief executive is in Mehterlam to review and analyze situation in the province where he was accompanied by a number of cabinet ministers, deputy of some government institutions, representatives of people in national assembly and advisors to chief executive.
It is determined that the country’s chief executive is going to open a number development projects in the province.
