In Kabul Thousands needy families Received Aid

KABUL (BNA) Ministry of Managment deseaster provided food and non-foodstuffs to 1,000 deserving and needy families in Kabul today.

Mohammad Khoshhal Zamani, Kabul province’s director of disaster management, said that in this program, rice, wheat, and other non-food necessity of life have distributed to each families.

He added that humanitarian aid will be provided to the needy in a fair and transparent manner and that the series of aid will continue in Kabul province.

The Ministry of State for Disaster Management says 10,000 families have benefited from humanitarian assistance over the past six months.

The United Nations, meanwhile, has recently expressed concern about the rising poverty rate in Afghanistan and called on donor countries and international aid agencies to continue providing assistance to the Afghan people.
