Kabul (BNA) The House of People in its session yesterday summoned the minister for transport Mohammad Allah Batash, minister for foreign affairs Salahuddin Rabbani and head of civil aviation and questioned about the landing of a Gulf plane at Herat airport.
The minister for transport said that the Arabian plane landed legally and it was a cargo plane which transported 10 vehicles and half ton of food stuff. After responding by the minister, some lawmakers questioned if the landing on airport was legal then why some officials of the Herat airport were sacked. The minister for foreign affairs briefed the lawmakers on the Heart of Asia conference held in Pakistan recently, saying Pakistan committed to cooperate Afghanistan honestly in the war on terror. Similarly, some legislators in the session chaired by deputy speaker Abdul Zahir Qadir expressed sorrow over resignation of Rahmatullah Nabil as chief of national directorate for security and demanded revision for the reason of his resignation, saying his resignation at this juncture of time is not suitable and Nabil should appraise the house about reasons for his resignation.
