Mehtarlam (BNA) Six armed Taliban were killed in two clashes in Laghman and Nooristan provinces yesterday.
A border police commander in the east of the country said BNA, the clashes occurred in Alishing and Barg-e-Matal districts.
It is said that there were no any harm and casualties incurred to security forces and civilians in the clashes.
According to another report, two suspects were held by national army forces in a clearing operation in Helmand province yesterday.
Mohammad Mohsen press in charge of 205 army corps command told BNA, the operation conducted by ANA forces in suburb of Lashkasrga city, in which two suspects have been arrested.
It is said that the arrested suspects were involved in most planning of destructive and terrorist actions in different parts of Helmand province.
According to him, they are under investigation by police forces.
