12 Armed Taliban Arrested In Logar

Pul-i-Alam (BNA) 12 armed Taliban were arrested by Afghan and ISAF forces from Charkh district of Logar province yesterday. 
Colonel Ghulam Sakhi Roogh Lewni police chief of Logar said to BNA, coalition forces carried out an operation in Charkh district last night in which 12 armed Taliban including a key commander of them were detained. 
Deen Mohammad Darwish spokesperson for Logar governor said that in this operation Kalashnikov, pistol, and counterfeit were seized by these forces. 
According to him these persons were captured from Charkh district bazaar and are under investigation by ISAF. 
According to another report, seven persons were captured on charges of cooperation with armed Taliban from Khashrood district of Nimrooz province.
Two PK machine guns, a quantity of mines and explosive devices were seized by Afghan and NATO forces from them, the source added.
