TALAQAN (BNA) Afghan red crescent distributed foodstuffs and non-food aid packages aided by Qatar to 700 needy families in the Chah-e-Ab district of the province.
Mohammad Shafi Hijrat, head of Afghan red crescent in the northeastern zone, told BNA that they distributed two bags of flour, a package of food and a package of medical supplies to each deserving family.
Earlier, the Takhar Department had distributed food and non-foodstuffs to more than 700 needy families in the provincial capital.
