Counter-Terrorism Operations Annihilate 29 Terrorists

Kabul (BNA) As many as 29 anti-government militias including 23 ISIS fighters and three local commanders of Taliban group were killed during counter-terrorism operations led by Afghan security forces in the past 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the operations were conducted with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Laghma, Ghazni, Logar, Kandahar, Faryab, Balkh and Helmand provinces.
In addition, several armed rebels were injured and some heavy and light weapons have been discovered and seized during the operations as well, the source added.
Also during the last 24 hours 8 planned clearing operations and 7 special operations were launched in 7 provinces of the country, at the same time Afghan air forces for supporting Afghan National Army forces in battlefields carried out 113 air flights in various parts of the country.
