Turkmenistan And Afghanistan: Beyond Friendship, President Ghani Says

Kabul (BNA) Turkmenistan friendship could be an example to other countries; this was stated by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani at the conference on “Impartial policies, international cooperation for peace, security and progress” in Ashgabat yesterday.
Addressing the conference, president Ghani said that Turkmenistan has proved his good neighborliness with Afghanistan. Some neighboring countries instead of cooperation and assistance, promote terrorism, but Turkmenistan extends cooperation, the president pointed out. The impartiality of Turkmenistan has paved the way for peace and security in the region and adopting the policy has facilitated the country to have huge achievements, president Ghani noted. Turkmenistan today in spite of seeking assistance assists others, the president went on to say in his speech. President Ghani also said that Afghanistan’s relations with Turkmenistan is historic and traditionally deep rooted in the sector of trade and cultural communalities and with utilizing opportunities the bilateral relations would further get closer. President Ghani along with other heads of states and governments put wreath of flower at the historic monument of Turkmenistan impartiality in the 20th anniversary of adopting impartial policy.
