Office Of Deputy Minister For Youth Affairs Praises Reporters

Kabul (BNA) The office of deputy minister for youth affairs of information and culture ministry in a meeting appreciated the activities of the journalists in the country. 
Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and Culture told the meeting that it is a matter of pleasure for him today the reporters and journalists are appreciated for their good services to the media. 
Temur Shah Ishaqzai deputy minister for youth affairs of the ministry said that the main achievement of the government in the past ten years is the freedom of speech and that has come about as a result of youth efforts and this has even cost the youth to lose their lives on the path of freedom of speech. 
He added that the ministry has created coordination and training program for the reporters and even they will be sent abroad for upgrading their knowledge. 
Abdul Hamid Mubarez an outstanding reporter and journalists of the country talked on the role of media and reporters and said that he is happy that for the first time the reporters are being appreciated. 
He added that in the past there were limited number of media and the journalists but this has considerably increased now and this of course due to the efforts of the successful journalists and he hoped that the quality of the media also improve. 
He noted that still the journalists are threatened and they are conveying the news under such conditions.
