Qalat (BNA) Police arrested a Pakistani officer in Zabul last night.
Zabul police Chief Mohammad Wais Samimi told BNA that the military officer was working with the Taliban in technical units and preparing mines, and that he was arrested as a result of a military operation in Zabul.
The source added the officer was a resident of Dastwal village in Sewal district of Punjab province of Pakistan who in addition to Zabul in other provinces also cooperated with the Taliban in preparing mines and other explosives.
