Kabul (BNA) The commencement of collecting garbage program from the city with participation of President Ghani gives a message that the culture of cleaning the city should become a part of public culture and every citizen should know his /her moral obligation in that regard.
BNA social analyst commenting on the issue writes Ashraf Ghani president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a move participated in a program for collecting garbage from Kabul city. In this way gave a clear message to the citizens irrespective to their social status should perform their obligation in cleaning the city and observe the culture of urbanism.
The program of cleaning the city is implementing in a time, the city due to increasing population and lack of city master plan suffers severe problems, and parts of the city have changed in to garbage bins that threat the environment and health of citizens.
To overcome such problems, it requires the residents of the city to carry certain obligations and duties. The problem seems so serious that the president in a critical situation of the country, despite of his busy working schedule takes part in collecting garbage and cleaning the city program. With this move, he showed that as a citizen of the city performs his obligations regarding to keeping the city clean and delivers a message to the residents of the city to implement the slogan of ( Our city is our house) in practice.
Although, the move of the president hailed by the people, now it depends to social organizations, political parties, civil society activists, and state officials to change the culture of social activities among them cleaning the city in to a public culture and conducting volunteer works as before implement the ( Slogan of our city our house) in practice.
In addition, participation of state officials particularly the high ranking authorities in volunteer works for cleaning the city encourage the people to pay attention to keep the environment clean and healthy via conducting the process in their local residential areas and end to the nefarious situation of today for ever.
