Taliban Attack Repelled in Baghlan

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Taliban attack in Borka district, Baghlan province repulsed with huge losses to enemy last night.
Colonel Mohammad Ali Nahrenwal police chief of Borka district, Baghlan province told BNA local correspondent, Taliban launched attacks in three distance to seize Borka district, were faced with sever resistance of Afghan security forces.
In the attack 41 Taliban were killed and 24 others have been injured and other Taliban fled the site, said Nahrenwal.
Top commanders of Taliban in Dand-e-Ghori Dand Shahabuddin Baghlan Markazi and Tala and Barfak districts were also among the dead.
In the event, nine Afghan security forces were martyred and three others have been injured, said the police chief of Borka district.
