Kabul (BNA) Noordin Azizi Acting Minister of Industry and Trade said in an exclusive dialogue with his administration and private sector that producers should pay attention to product quality and price balance.
According to BNA, the exclusive meeting, had launched under slogan “self-sufficiency of Afghanistan” for the propose of introducing of 200 types of goods, the minister of Industry and Trade called on industrialists in various sectors to coordinate and cooperate more with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for the self-sufficiency of trade industry.
likewise, He visited the exhibition of Products in which Afghanistan has reach self-sufficient, and called on producers to pay attention to the quality of products and the balance of prices, assumed the competitive situation in the market and the economic conditions of consumers
Meanwhile, Rahimullah Samandar, chairman of the board of directors of the Chamber of Industries and Mines, presented a report on goods in which Afghanistan has reach self-sufficient.
Detergents, cakes and pastries, sweets, soft drinks, mineral water, disposable tableware, aluminum utensils and marble are some of the major items in which Afghanistan has reach self-sufficient, the report added.
Problems, challenges, and solutions were also discussed with artisans, manufacturers, and importers.
At the end of the meeting, in order to further strengthen domestic industries, self-sufficiency and solve the problems of industrialists, private sector representatives and officials were asked to share their proposals in writing with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
