Kabul (BNA) A spokesperson to Independent Election Commission says 90pc of votes’ audit process has been completed so far and the process is in its final work stages.
Speaking to journalists in a news conference yesterday, IEC spokesman Noor Mohammad Noor said, “850 ballot boxes were audited the other day and thus the number of audited boxes has reached to 2050 showing 90pc of votes audited so far.”
He expressed hope that the final results of the election would be announced soon after vote audit process is ended.
It is worth mentioning that vote audit process is in progress with participation of national, international observers and IEC employees without presence of the two candidates’ observers.
