Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met the NATO civilian representative to Afghanistan Maurits R. Jochems at the Presidential Palace yesterday.
Presidential press office stated BNA, During the meeting, the president expressed gratitude to international forces over their contribution to Afghanistan and handing over of the security responsibility to Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) and also wished success for Mr. Jochems in his future mission.
The NATO’s civilian representative expressed optimism about Afghanistan’s future and said the country under the leadership of President Ghani would make more progress.
