Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai accepted the credentials of new French ambassador in special ceremonies.
After the ceremony, President Karzai while Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Zalmai Rassul was also present, welcomed the new French ambassador to Afghanistan and wished him success in achieving his mission.
The president in his meeting discussed bilateral issues and called France Afghanistan’s historical friend and partner, and expressed satisfaction over the continued cooperation in the light of the strategic cooperation treaty between the two nations.
The new French ambassador assured the president that during his mission as ambassador he will strive to further expand relations in different spheres between the two nations.
Both sides emphasized on further expansion of economic and cultural cooperation between the two nations as well.
