Kabul (BNA) Three smugglers were detained in Farah province with 340 kgs drugs.
An official of public order police in the west of the country told BNA, the incident took place while the smugglers wanted to smuggle about 340 kgs of drugs from Balla Blook district to Herat province in which detained by public order police.
According to the source, 300 kgs of opium, 40kgs of hashish and a Kalashnikov were seized from the smugglers.
In the meantime figures of the anti-narcotic ministry shows that in the recent year 434 famous smugglers were detained and 14 drug producing factory have been destroyed by the government.
