Jalalabad (BNA) 16 members of Daesh group killed and five others wounded in recent clashes in Nangarhar province by Shaheen military security forces.
The clashes occurred in the last 24 hours in Achen district.
Neman Atefi spokesman of national army forces in the east of the country told BNA, in the clashes, 16 members of Daesh group lost their lives and five others were injured.
He said, the terrorist were came under attack by militaries while terrorist activities in the mentioned district.
It is said that three militaries were also injured in the clashes.
According to spokesman of national army forces in the east of the country, the security forces have managed to clear tens of villages from presence of terrorist groups in the operation.
The Shaheen military operation started a month ago on Daesh strangleholds’ in Nangarhar province and still continues there.
During the operation, nearly 200 members of Daesh group were killed and wounded.
