Herat (BNA) More than 3700 families have gained access to environmental facilities after execution of public utility projects by National Solidarity Program (NSP) in western Herat province.
According to publication and relation department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry to BNA, 23 welfare projects have been implemented and put into exploitation by NSP with a cost of 24, 976, 000 Afghanis in relevant areas of Ghoriyan and Gulran districts of the province.
The completed projects include the construction works of primary school, community centers, protection walls, water canals, supply of drinking water, and renewal of drinking water and renewal of agricultural irrigation system.
It is mentionable that NSP from the beginning have been completed 4530 welfare projects in fields of transport, water supply, electricity, irrigation canal, education and livelihoods in various parts of Herat province so far.
